Fiber LASER Welder for Chain

Model-FX is a LASER Generator with fiber optic delivery, specially developed to integrate LASER welding on chain production machines.

  • With Model-FX you can achieve extraordinary results, until now considered "impossible" by many. The limits of LASER welding are finally overcome and, thanks to the very high quality of the LASER beam which allows the welding to penetrate deeply into the metal - often crossing the wire from side to side, it is possible to carry out "definitive" LASER welding even on wires considerable thicknesses, without having to re-weld the chain with traditional methods. Thanks to the PREMIUM quality of the LASER generator, Model-FX allows you to weld chains that can withstand further processing such as hammering, compacting, limbering and diamond cutting, without the use of welding powder.
  • Despite the very high power of Model-FX, the chain links do not undergo deformations and the welding surface remains clean, compact and uniform. Depending on the material and thickness of the wire to be worked, the traditional welding process can therefore be considered "useless".

The first DOUBLE LASER welder ever produced in the world

With the aim of proposing an innovative solution to optimize costs and space, without compromising reliability and quality, ProLASER™ was the first in the world to integrate two separate LASER generators in a single machine body. The innovative Dual LASER Generator technology, called “DualCore”, integrates two independent LASER Generators within the same unit and allows the installation of Model-FX “DualCore” on two separate chain machines. Thanks to the two independent LASER Generators, incorporated into Model-FX “Dual Core”, the ProLASER™ LASER welder is able to provide full power to each fiber, simultaneously, allowing you to manage the power settings individually, as you would with two single units. No beam, power or time splitting.

Power 60J

Model-FX/60, suitable for the production of any type of traditional chain, is recommended for welding wires with dimensions up to a maximum of 0.40mm, both empty and solid. It can mount optical fibers starting from 200um and can process wire sizes starting from 0.20mm

Power 100J

Model-FX/100 is certainly the most versatile model of the FX series. It can mount optical fibers starting from 200um and, thanks to the enormous LASER power, it is suitable for processing wires up to 0.70mm in gold and 0.35mm in silver. Matchable with any chain machine, it is suitable for processing hollow wire and solid wire.

Power 150J

Model-FX/150 is the most powerful version of Model-FX. It can mount optical fibers starting from 400um and can process wires from 0.40mm to more than 1mm in Gold and wires from 0.40mm to 0.80mm in Silver. This model is suitable for the production of any type of chain and is recommended for processing generally large wires.

Interface


7" HD Touch Screen Display

Model-FX is equipped with a large 7" HD LCD touch-screen display which allows you to read and set the parameters in total comfort. In the DualCore version, the large display allows you to view and set the working parameters of both LASERS simultaneously.

Intuitive interface and parameter management

The Operating System is developed to be intuitive and allow easy access to all functions. The "soft scaling" of the Welding Parameters, divided into 1000 steps, allows for precise and accurate power adjustment, optimizing the parameters based on the application. The user interface is designed to display all essential information such as working parameters and machine status at a glance. Furthermore, a deep submenu enables dynamic control of the system and its settings. Model-FX "DualCore" can be programmed to make each of the two LASER outputs free and completely independent of each other, or alternatively, both outputs can be synchronized to deliver the same power through the two optical fibers simultaneously.

Cooling down

The Model-FX Cooling System allows you to work without interruptions, in a work environment up to a temperature of 39°C, without the use of any external chiller.

Despite the very high power of Model-FX, the chain links do not undergo deformations and the welding surface remains clean, compact and uniform. Depending on the material and thickness of the wire to be worked, the traditional welding process can therefore be considered "useless".

Compatibility


Model-FX has been developed to be fully compatible with all chain machines. Whether it is welding Grumetta, Forzatina, Corda, Bismark or any other type of chain - whether it must be installed on old FICO, MGZ and OMBI models - or on the most recent systems developed by SISMA and FASTI - or on the advanced CIEMMEO systems – with Model-FX you can..

Technical specifications


  • The main technical characteristics of Model-FX, in addition to a Solid Structure and a very efficient Cooling System, are concentrated inside the LASER Generator which, thanks to Premium quality optical components, allows it to generate a LASER beam of superior efficiency. All optical components (lenses, mirrors, lamp, crystal and ceramic cavity) are mounted "in Solido" and this special Model-FX mounting technique reduces the risk of misalignment between the LASER Generator and all other components.
  • The structure of Model-FX is designed to protect the internal components and, at the same time, the design allows efficient ventilation as well as easy access to the three main areas of the machine (the LASER Generator, the Cooling System, the Electronic Panel ) in order to simplify maintenance, both for normal routine operations and for extraordinary interventions.
